• Telegram user ID — your unique Telegram identifier, used to associate your predictions with your account
• Display name and username — shown on leaderboards and in competitions
• Language preference — to display the app in your preferred language
• Country — to suggest relevant leagues
• Predictions — your match predictions, scores, and related game data

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide the Matchday Rivals game experience:

• Processing and scoring your predictions
• Displaying leaderboards and competition standings
• Sending notifications about matches, results, and achievements
• Managing your competition memberships and friend connections

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

Matchday Rivals relies on the following third-party services:

• Telegram — the platform that hosts our Mini App and bot. Telegram's privacy policy applies to your use of Telegram itself.
• API-Football — provides match fixtures, results, and statistics. No user data is shared with API-Football.
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and provides CDN services. Standard web logs may be collected.
• Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers AI match predictions. No personally identifiable information is sent to this service.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Game data (predictions, scores, competition history) is kept to maintain leaderboard integrity and your personal statistics.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — view your predictions, stats, and profile information within the app
• Request deletion — contact us through the Telegram bot to request complete deletion of your account and associated data
• Control notifications — manage your notification preferences in the app settings

Children's Privacy

Matchday Rivals is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us through the Telegram bot.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Telegram bot. Continued use of Matchday Rivals after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
